1. 简介

邓志刚博士,华东交通大学虚拟现实与交互技术研究院院长,博士生导师;美国休斯顿大学计算机科学系终身正教授,博士生导师 1997年于厦门大学数学系获学士学位,2000年于北京大学计算机科学系获硕士学位, 2006年于美国南加州大学获计算机科学博士学位。邓博士一直从事虚拟现实技术,计算机图形学,计算机动画,人机交互,计算人体行为学,情感计算等方向的研究工作。主持和完成美国国家自然科学基金、美国国家卫生研究院、美国国家航空航天局、 美国国防部、中国国家自然科学基金等20多项,研究基金的总金额超过470万美元。曾获南加州大学国际学生学术成就奖,德州Norman-Hackerman高等研究奖,休斯顿大学计算机科学系教授研究卓越奖, 谷歌教授研究奖, 休斯顿大学教学卓越奖中国国家自然科学基金委的海外与港澳学者合作研究奖(前称是海外杰青或者杰青B),休斯顿大学研究卓越奖,美国计算机协会颁发的特殊贡献奖等荣誉。

 

2.研究方向简介

邓博士目前的研究方向主要在下面几个方向:(1)虚拟人三维建模、动画、系统及应用(包括人脸动画,人物动画,以及群组动画),(2)虚拟现实技术(包括算法、系统、以及虚拟环境中的人机交互研究),(3)计算人体行为学和情感计算(包括双人和多人的计算交互学,和情感计算的算法与技术)。
